ENDEMOL SECURES DISTRIBUTION DEALS FOR DISCOP SLATE

Endemol International today announced a significant line up of deals across Eastern Europe for its portfolio of ready made shows that will be showcased at Discop 2008.

Series 2 of True Entertainment's Design Star (9 x 60mins) and the debut runs of Endemol UK hits Supersize vs. Superskinny (8 x 60mins) and Coleen's Real Women (8 x 60mins) have all been acquired by BBC Lifestyle in Poland. Meanwhile, MTV Poland has taken Endemol USA's high tech dating series Exposed (56 x 30mins).

In Bulgaria Nova Television Plus has swept up a wide ranging slate of programming. This includes dating shows Exposed (96 x 30mins) and Fool Around With... (series 1-3); and entertainment hits Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (series 1 and 2) and I Want To Be A Hilton (8 x 60mins) - all produced by Endemol USA.

Nova Television Plus has also acquired reality shows The Golden Cage (100 x 30mins) and There's Something About Miriam (6 x 60mins + 6 x 30mins) as well as Bulgarian versions of Big Brother (series 1-3) and Big Brother VIP (series 1 and 2).

TV2 in Bulgaria has acquired two of Talpa Media's hit dramas, Goals and Lipstick (series 1-2) and Vipers Nest (series 1-3). The channel has also taken series 1-2 of Julia's Tango, produced by Endemol Netherlands.

In Hungary Channel Cool has snapped up True Entertainment's production of Battle of the Bods (16 x 30mins).

In the Ukraine QTV has booked Endemol Southern Star's pop culture show Ralph TV along with the UK and US versions of Peoples Book Of Records (9 x 30mins; 6 x 30mins) and game show Rollerjam (40 x 30mins).

Other highlights for this year's Discop include an all-new catalogue of programming from 51 Minds Entertainment, the US independent in which Endemol recently took a majority stake. This includes reality shows Glam God (8 x 60mins), New York Goes to Hollywood (10 x 30mins) and I love Money (2 x 90mins + 10 x 60 Mins).

Also available for the first time will be Endemol Argentina's latest telenovela The Successful Mr Pells (120 x 60mins), which was launched at the LA Screenings in May.

Endemol International will be represented at Discop 2008 by Sales Executive Holly Winder who comments: "We are taking a fantastically rich and varied slate of drama, factual, reality and entertainment programing from all over the world to Discop this year. We have already secured a signifcant number of deals across Eastern Europe with these shows and we're expecting a very busy market."
