ENDEMOL ROLLS OUT DISTRIBUTION SLATE INTO NEW TERRITORIES

Endemol International today announced a series of deals around the world for its distribution portfolio in the lead up to Mip TV 2008.

Endemol UK's production of factual entertainment series Supersize vs. Superskinny (8x60mins) has been acquired by Viasat in a multi-territory deal covering Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The series will be available at Mip TV for the first time having been a hit for Channel 4 with audiences of up to 3.1 million.

Endemol Netherlands's exclusive expose on missing American student Natalee Holloway by Peter R. De Vries, Crime Reporter (1x120mins), has been snapped up by ABC in the USA having generated widespread international media coverage.

Also from Endemol Netherlands are drama series Don't Miss the Ferry (13x25mins) and Julia's Tango (10x45mins and 12x45mins), both of which have been picked up by VRT in Belgium.

Finished productions of Big Brother have also been picked up internationally for the first time. Russia's first series of the show, produced by Endemol Moscow for TNT, has been acquired by TET in the Ukraine while two series of Endemol UK's Big Brother for Channel 4 and E4 have been taken by TVN in Poland. This follows E4's acquisition of Endemol USA's Big Brother 8 for CBS - now on air in the UK.

Meanwhile Endemol UK's documentary series Primordial Dwarf (1x60mins), which was originally produced for Five, has been sold to seven new territories. These are RTL in the Netherlands, TV Norge in Norway, TV3 in Denmark and Sweden, VTM in Belgium, Nine Network in Australia, TVNZ in New Zealand and TV3 Bulgaria.

All these shows will be showcased as part of Endemol's distribution slate at Mip TV 2008.
