ENDEMOL AND SCHIBSTED END SCANDINAVIAN JOINT VENTURE

Endemol Group B.V. today announced it has sold its 35% share in Metronome Film & Television to Schibsted, which has now become the sole owner of the Metronome group.

Metronome Film & Television was formed in 1998 as a joint venture between 65% shareholder Schibsted and 35% shareholder Endemol. The company has since operated successfully in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Following the sale of its 35% stake Endemol will continue to work with Metronome on current productions of Endemol formats in these territories.

Endemol and Metronome have also agreed terms on which Endemol will independently produce future commissions in the region.

Aat Schouwenaar, Chief Executive Officer of Endemol comments: "We have enjoyed success with this joint venture over the past years but for us the time is right to move on. We look forward to continuing to work with Metronome in the near future as well as finding new directions for Endemol in the region."
