VIRGINIE CALMELS APPOINTED CEO ENDEMOL FRANCE

Following the decision of Stéphane Courbit, the current Chairman of Endemol France, to resign from his position, Endemol Group B.V. (Endemol) today announced that Virginie Calmels will be appointed as Présidente and CEO of Endemol France.

Virginie Calmels (36) joined Endemol in 2003 and is currently Managing Director of Endemol France and part of Endemol's international management team.

Together with show host Arthur, Stéphane Courbit (42) founded ASP/Case production in 1994. The company was acquired by Endemol in 2000 and since then Mr. Courbit has been the Chairman of Endemol France.

Biography of Virginie Calmels

Virginie Calmels, graduated in 1993 from business school (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Toulouse), she became certified public accountant in 1999 and graduated from INSEAD Fontainebleau. She began her career as finance auditor. She entered into the TV industry as chief financial officer of NCNuméricable (Canal+ group). After two years in Amsterdam as CFO of SkyGate BV, she went back into Canal+, firstly as CFO, then as COO and finally as co-general manager of the French pay TV Canal+. She joined Endemol France in September 2003 as general manager. She is also vice president of SPECT (independent producers' union).
