ENDEMOL LINES UP NEW READY MADE SHOWS FOR MIP

Endemol International today unveiled a new slate of documentaries, drama, entertainment and digital content for Mip TV 2008 and also announced a new appointment to its distribution team.

Five of Endemol's latest factual entertainment hits have been added to this year's portfolio.

New from Endemol UK are Channel 4's first series of Supersize vs. Superskinny (8x60mins), which pulled in audiences of up to 3.1 million viewers earlier this year and Coleen's Real Women (8x60mins), which has been one of ITV2's biggest hits of 2008.

Also from Endemol UK is Crime Museum: New Scotland Yard (13x60mins), the new documentary series that is due to premier soon on the Crime & Investigation Network.

The HistoryChannel's Forbidden City (1x60mins - produced by Kunhardt productions and IBM) and Endemol Argentina's productions for El Garage (140x60mins + 70x30mins) are also new to this year's factual portfolio.

Joining the entertainment line up for Mip is Endemol UK's all new make-UNDER series Filthy Gorgeous (6x30mins), which is due to launch soon on BBC THREE.

Endemol Southern Star's comedy series Monster House (10x60mins) for Nine Network in Australia will also be added to the entertainment slate.

Reality shows available for the first time at Mip include Endemol USA's production of Queen Bees for The N (8x60mins) and True Entertainment's Battle of The Bods for Fox Reality (16x30mins).

Joining this year's drama line up is Endemol Argentina's production of Don Juan and his fair lady: Songs from the Heart for Telefe (120x60mins) and Endemol Netherlands's Don't Miss the Ferry for Avro (13x25mins).

And this year for the first time Endemol's portfolio will include bespoke dramas for online and mobile platforms. These include Endemol UK's production of Cell, the hard hitting thriller originally commissioned by UK mobile operator O2 and BBC Online's interactive cult series Signs of Life.

Meanwhile, Nuno I has joined Endemol International as Sales Manager, Asia. He will work from Hong Kong reporting to London based Director of Sales, Distribution, Matt Creasey who comments: "Our slate for Mip is stronger than ever after another fantastic run of Endemol hits in key territories - and on new digital platforms. I'm also delighted to have Nuno joining us to focus on Asia; further strengthening our capacity to exploit these shows internationally."
