The worldwide roll out of Endemol USA's blockbuster reality hit Fear Factor continues apace taking the show into thirteen new territories. In Eastern Europe Vision + in Albania, Tet in the Ukraine, Pro TV, Romania and BTV in Lithuania have all bought up the show. It has also been optioned by production company Emotion in Serbia.
Across the rest of Europe the US version of the show has been sold to Challenge/Virgin in the UK, SBS Netherlands, TV6 in Sweden and Channel 4, Finland.
Meanwhile in Asia Fear Factor has been picked up by CPI/ABS in the Philippines and RCTI Indonesia. KTV in Kenya and TVNZ in New Zealand have also taken the series. The programme has now been sold to 54 territories worldwide.
Endemol South Africa's versions of music reality hit Project Fame (53 x 60mins) and entertainment format All You Need is Love (52 x 60mins) have both been bought up by the Africa Channel in the US, Canada and UK.
Endemol USA's reality dating hit Exposed (96 x 30mins) has been sold into six new territories. MTV has bought up the show in Russia, Germany and Poland, while TV 4 in Sweden, Europe 2 TV in France and CPI/ABS Philippines have also taken the series.
True Entertainment's medical documentary series Mystery Diagnosis has been sold into five territories. Discovery has bought the series for the UK and Latin America, while TV4 in Sweden, SBS in Belgium and BTV in Lithuania have also picked it up.
Matt Creasey, Director of Sales, Distribution comments: "The combination of these established series and a significant line up of exciting new shows makes this our largest and most wide ranging market portfolio to date. In total we're bringing over 4500 hours of finished shows to Mipcom in genres that range from drama and factual to reality, entertainment and kids shows."
Endemol International last week revealed a slate of new shows that will make their international debuts at Mipcom.
