ENDEMOL APPOINTS MARTHA BRASS AS DEPUTY CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Endemol, a world leader in entertainment programming, today announced the appointment of Martha Brass as Deputy Chief Operating Officer.

Martha will report to Marco Bassetti, Chief Operating Officer for the Endemol Group. In her capacity she will work alongside Marco in overseeing operations across the Endemol Group, which incorporates a production and distribution network spanning twenty five countries on five continents.

Over the last ten years Martha has held numerous senior international positions in the independent production sector including high level roles at FremantleMedia and 19 Entertainment.

Martha spent six years at FremantleMedia, where her roles included Chief Operating Officer, FremantleMedia North America; Chief Operating Officer, Southern Europe and South Africa; Commercial Director, Fremantle Media Production and Commercial & Finance Director, Fremantle International Distribution.

In 2004 she went on to become Executive Vice President and Head of Television for Simon Fuller's 19 Entertainment, creator and co-owner of the worldwide phenomenon, Idols. Based in both London and Los Angeles, she was responsible for managing the development, production and sales of all of 19's television properties.

In 2008 she joined CPH Group, incorporating Amaze TV in the UK and D&D Media Group in Europe, where she held senior roles including Commercial Director of the CPH Group and Managing Director of Amaze TV.

Martha takes up the role of Deputy Chief Operating Officer on 5th January and will be based at Endemol's offices in London.
