The Manhattan office will focus on the cable space and will further expand Endemol's presence on the East Coast, operating in addition to True Entertainment and Original Media, Endemol's acquired companies in New York.
The move sees Emmy nominated producer Dave Hamilton appointed as Vice President of Development in New York, further growing Endemol USA's development capacity.
Endemol USA is also increasing its development resources in Los Angeles with the appointment of Emmy Award winning producer Michael Weinberg as Vice President of Development.
Both Hamilton and Weinberg will report to Caroline Baumgard, Endemol USA's Senior Vice President of Development, who oversees all non-scripted development including original idea generation, developing international formats for the US marketplace, selling to US buyers and overseeing pilot production.
Michael Weinberg is a leading US producer whose credits span comedy, variety, talk shows, game shows and late-night. He was most recently the Co-Executive producer of NBC's "America's Got Talent"; Fox's "Don't Forget the Lyrics"; NBC's "1 vs. 100"; and Comedy Central's "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." He also worked on the launch of "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and has run numerous shows for networks and in syndication.
Dave Hamilton has extensive experience in producing, directing, show-running and comedy writing. His credits also include VH1's "Best Year Ever," Comedy Central's "Insomniac with Dave Attell" and the Emmy nominated documentary series "The Awful Truth with Michael Moore". He has also worked as a supervising producer for CBS and FX networks.
Caroline Baumgard comments: "Michael Weinberg and Dave Hamilton have incredible experience in both production and development and they will be important players in continuing to help build successful Endemol shows and brands. By having support on both coasts, this will allow us to have an even larger presence."
To support the continuing growth of its development business, Endemol USA is also expanding its production roster, hiring Noah Beery to serve as Vice President of Production. Beery will report to Senior Vice President, Rob Day, who oversees all of Endemol USA's productions.
Beery was previously a Production Executive at MTV overseeing daily production operations on numerous series, pilots and presentations for MTV including "Paris Hilton's My New BFF2," "Bully Beatdown," "Disaster Date" and "Parental Control."
