About

Bel's dad Ainsley hasn't got time for 'popular entertainers' - he's an actor's agent. When three boys, who've just formed their band write to Bel's dad, he thinks its hilarious. Nobody could be remotely interested in representing some nobody pop band called Fresh. Bel's dad shows her the letter and the CD for a laugh, but Bel is blown away by what she hears. She thinks Fresh deserve to make it big - and she's here to make sure they will.

Bel is Fresh's first fan. How hard can it be to get Leon, Tay and Vince a gig, win them some more fans and make sure the right people see them? Leon is enthusiastic but he's having a hard time convincing his band mates to step out of the garage and on to a stage. Can Bel persuade them that if she likes their music, so will masses of other people?

Fresh think Bel is great and they are happy to let her help - until a grown-up manager comes along. There's no denying she knows her music and how to market it to a pre-teen pop audience, but when will it occur to Fresh that the best manager the band could ever have is the nine-year-old girl right under their noses?
