Chief Commercial Officer

Tom is responsible for Endemol's worldwide commercial activities. His remit includes the expansion of the company's distribution business and worldwide sales as well as third party distribution, co-productions and pre-sales of scripted programmes. Tom also oversees Endemol Group’s activities in sports, participation TV, branded entertainment as well as consumer products and marketing.

Tom took up his role in early 2009 having previously been Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Disney-ABC-ESPN Television, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada where he was in charge of programming, new media and channel distribution.

Global Head of Programming

Paul leads Endemol's creative process. He coordinates the group's creative teams around the world and manages the Global Creative Team. He is also seeking to expand third party intellectual property acquisition.

Paul has been at Endemol for twelve years. Alongside John De Mol, he developed the Big Brother format and, as Executive Producer, steered it through its launch first in the Netherland in 1999 and thereafter in the USA. Prior to his appointment as Global Head of Programming in January 2009, he was Managing Director of Endemol Netherlands and a key member of the group's Global Creative Team.

Executive Director, International Relations

Martha joined Endemol in January 2009 as Deputy COO, working alongside Chief Operating Officer Marco Bassetti in overseeing operations across the Endemol Group, which incorporates a production and distribution network spanning twenty five countries on five continents.

During 2008, Martha was Managing Director of Amaze TV and Commercial Director of private-equity-backed CPH Group (Amaze TV in the UK and D&D Media Group in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany).

From 2004 to 2007, Martha was Executive Vice President and Head of Television for 19 Entertainment, based in both London and Los Angeles. She was responsible for managing the development, production and sales of all of 19's television properties, including the worldwide phenomenon, Idols, as well as the hit series So You Think You Can Dance.

Previously Martha spent six years at FremantleMedia, where she held a number of roles including Chief Operating Officer, FremantleMedia North America; Chief Operating Officer, Southern Europe and South Africa; Commercial Director, FremantleMedia Production and Commercial & Finance Director, Fremantle International Distribution. Martha has a bachelor's degree from Cornell University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Global Head of Legal, Endemol Group

Andy is one of the TV industry's leading legal executives with fifteen years experience.

As Global Head of Legal at Endemol Group he oversees the group's legal affairs, advising on all aspects of the business including licensing and sales of IP across all platforms; third party IP acquisition; mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial partnerships and a broad scope of other corporate matters.

Prior to joining Endemol he held numerous senior positions at ITV plc, including Group Director of Legal and Regulatory Compliance, managing a team of over sixty across the group's various legal and compliance divisions.

During this time he had close involvement in strategy and policy formation; mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures and strategic alliances; regulatory liaison; management of litigation; and responsibility for commercial, corporate and compliance matters throughout ITV plc.

Andy took up his post at Endemol in early 2009.

Global Head of Human Resources

Rob joined Endemol early 2005 and oversees the group's human resources activities in all countries across the globe. His specific focus is on talent management and compensation & benefits for the top 100 within the group.

Before joining Endemol Rob gained extensive experiences within FMCG (15 years within Unilever), Pharmaceutics and Telecommunications. He has longstanding international experience through Global and Regional roles.

 
Steve Copestake
Steve Copestake

Global Head of Marketing, Endemol Group

As Global Head of Marketing at Endemol Group, Steve Copestake manages all Endemol’s marketing activities, focusing on global entertainment formats and also working closely with Endemol Worldwide Distribution on finished programming. His remit also includes providing comprehensive post sales marketing support for Endemol’s clients around the world.

Copestake joined Endemol in 2010 from Disney-ABC-ESPN Television where he was Senior Vice President, International Marketing. During his seven years at Disney, Steve led the marketing and research operation for the company’s TV distribution business, representing their most successful global brands including ‘Lost’, ‘Desperate Housewives’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.

Copestake also played a central role in the International roll-out of Disney Channel’s live action franchises including worldwide hits such as ‘High School Musical’ and ‘Hannah Montana’.

During his 25 year career he has also been Head of Marketing Communications at BSkyB and a Board Director at leading European marketing agency, The Added Value Company.
