Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining Endemol, Mr. Kreiz worked as an investor in the media industry. Between 2005-2007, Mr. Kreiz was a General Partner at Balderton Capital (formerly Benchmark Capital Europe), a leading venture capital firm, where he served on the boards of Setanta Sports and Codemasters.

Between 1997-2002 Mr. Kreiz was Chairman and CEO of Fox Kids Europe N.V. (FKE), which he co-founded with Mr. Haim Saban in October 1996. Under Mr. Kreiz's management, Fox Kids became one of the fastest growing pay-TV channel in Europe and the Middle East.

FKE was listed on the Euronext Stock Exchange in Amsterdam in November 1999. The majority shareholding in the company was subsequently sold to the Walt Disney Company in October 2001.

Mr. Kreiz was born in Israel in 1965. He is a graduate of UCLA's Anderson School of Management (MBA, 1993) and Tel Aviv University (BA, Economics and Management, 1991).

Chief Financial Officer

Leading global financial executive Just Spee was appointed as interim CFO for Endemol Group in 2010. He is based in Endemol’s offices in the Netherlands and reports to Ynon Kreiz.

Spee’s previous role was as Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal, a premier independent global professional services firm to companies across the industry spectrum. He has formerly been interim CFO at Visiocorp plc, Dorint AG, and Vitens NV and brings with him more than 20 years of experience as a general and financial manager across a wide range of industries. Mr Spee began his financial management career at Procter & Gamble, where he served as Finance Director of P&G's European paper product supply company, which has several large production facilities across Europe.

 
Marco Bassetti
Marco Bassetti

President of Endemol Group

Marco Bassetti first joined Endemol in December 1997 when Aran, the leading Italian production company he founded in 1989, was acquired by the Group. He then became Managing Director of Endemol Italia until 2001 going on to become President of the company until 2004.

During this period he oversaw the production of breakthrough dramas, soaps and light entertainment shows such as Grande Fratello (Big Brother), Chi Vuol Essere Milionario (Who Wants To Be A Millionaire), Affari Tuoi (Deal Or No Deal), and La Fattoria. He was also responsible for original programs such as the talk show Che Tempo che fa.

In May 2004 he became a member of Endemol's International Board and Global Creative Team while remaining as a consultant to Endemol Italia.

Marco was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Endemol Group in October 2007 and was promoted to President of Endemol Group in August 2009.

Paul Römer

Global Head of Programming

Paul leads Endemol's creative process. He coordinates the group's creative teams around the world and manages the Global Creative Team. He is also seeking to expand third party intellectual property acquisition.

Paul has been at Endemol for twelve years. Alongside John De Mol, he developed the Big Brother format and, as Executive Producer, steered it through its launch first in the Netherland in 1999 and thereafter in the USA. Prior to his appointment as Global Head of Programming in January 2009, he was Managing Director of Endemol Netherlands and a key member of the group's Global Creative Team.
